we had an amazing time in Cabanaconde and staying at this lovely place made it even better. The breakfast was top-notch and the staff, especially Edwin, were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a stunning view. We loved sitting and enjoying the peacefulness of the location. Highly recommended!
Lack of storage for clothes.

Comfortable bed, very clean rooms, amiable personnel. Location easy walk to city center was very quiet! There is restaurant Casa de Santiago at the premises. By the way, hotel charges for USD 4 per day for parking.
Not obvious to find.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at La Casa De Santiago. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast offered a wide variety of food including coffee, tea, and jam. Additionally, the location near Plaza Principal was very convenient, just 300 feet away.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a tranquil village and had an incredible experience. La Casa De Santiago offered everything I needed for a short stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms were clean and spacious. The location was perfect, situated on the outskirts of the village but still within walking distance to everything. The staff, especially Mr. Aquilino and Mr. Edwin, were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They even accommodated our date changes without any issues. The hotel also provided a delicious breakfast and even served a tasty dinner one evening. The highlight was the location, right on a hiking trail, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The hot showers were a welcome treat, with plenty of piping hot water. I couldn't have asked for a better experience at La Casa De Santiago.
Nothing that I didn't like. 😊

This hidden gem in the middle of nowhere blew our minds! The owners were incredibly helpful and kind. The spacious, well-equipped rooms were decorated beautifully and had jaw-dropping views. Despite being at the end of a road, it was only a short walk to the plaza. The location was perfect for our Colca Canyon trek. The simple but tasty breakfast was served early, and the staff gave us GREAT advice for the canyon. The garden area was a paradise with stunning views and daily visits from hummingbirds. This almost-luxury hotel had hot showers and was close to trailheads. It was definitely one of the best hotels we've stayed at in South America.

The staff went out of their way to prepare our room before check-in time and was always ready to help. The location is great, with an amazing view over the mountains and the countryside. The shower is hot and powerful - better than any other shower in our previous hotels in Peru. The restaurant uses fresh and local ingredients.
Felt spoilt, no complaints whatsoever.

The views from the rooms were stunning, with great scenery to wake up to every morning. The manager was helpful in providing assistance when needed. the rooms were comfortable and provided a cozy atmosphere during the stay.
There were a few negatives to be aware of. there was a strong disinfectant smell in the room upon arrival, making it unpleasant to stay there.

The location of this hotel is amazing, right on a hiking trail, perfect for nature lovers. The room and bathroom are clean, and the shower has really hot water. The staff is helpful and friendly, providing useful information in advance. The breakfast is delicious and they even offer a tasty dinner option. The garden offers a nice view of the mountains, which adds to the overall experience.
The website is misleading as it states perfect English speaking staff, but it's actually an opportunity to practice basic Spanish.
